If users are to answer calls via a call queue or a hunt group that involves multiple people then they must be added to a group first and the group gets assigned to that call queue or hunt group.
Select the Groups tab, here you will see your existing groups, their names and which licenses they support:
Click on the name of the group you wish to add the user to.
Scroll down until you see the button “Add Natterbox User”, click and select the new user you want to add to the group.
Once added, onboarding is complete and they are ready to use Natterbox in their designated role.
If you try to add someone to a group and they don’t have the appropriate licenses for that group then you will get an error message.
Setting up Listen-In
From Natterbox version 1.306 there are two options for users to listen in to calls.
Group Administrators are able to listen in to calls with Barge and Whisper functionality
Group Members are able to listen in to calls but do not have the Barge and Whisper Functionality
To give any user permission to listen to calls, select “Call by Call” in the drop-down next to their name.
If the member is in the Group Administrator section, they will automatically get the Barge and Whisper functionality. If the member is in the Group Members section, they will automatically get no additional functionality.
All members in the Group Administrators section
There is an option to give all members listen-in permission via the Group Administrators section by selecting Call by Call in the drop-down in this section.
Doing this will give all members Barge and Whisper functionality. To set up all Group Members with listen-in functionality, set this “All Members” option in Group Administrators to none and give each Group Member Call by Call permission.
Setting the All Members option to Call by Call will override what is currently set for each Group Member
