18.3.6. Creating Reports

Creating reports is a function of Salesforce. Creating a report enables users to see records that match desired criteria. A dashboard is then used to display the report(s).

To clone one of the default Insight reports:

  • Open the report
  • Click Save As
  • Rename the report as required

It is then possible to adjust the filters, the fields that are shown, or the chart.

What data is collected?

The data generated by the Insight platform, which exists within Salesforce, is collected. Click here to see a list and description of all items within the Insight object (this is the Insight Record which exists to hold all data about an Insight recording and transcript - it can be seen by clicking on the View Insight Record link from the Insight Search page).
