4.2. Understanding Freedom Mobile Error Messages

Freedom Mobile comes with a useful set of messages to inform you of the status of the app, below you will see the list of alerts which might display and any troubleshooting steps you can take to get yourself back online as soon as possible.

What you can do


Failed to retrieve user sip devices

Restart your app, ensure you are connect to the internet via mobile data or wifi connection


Failed to connect to the web phone

Restart your app, ensure you are connect to the internet via mobile data or wifi connection


Internet connection lost

Your connection to the internet has been interrupted, try moving to an area with better connection to the internet via mobile data or wifi connection


Failed to re-establish your call due to connection interruption.

Your call has disconnected, you will need to place the call again, ensure you are in an area with strong connection to the internet via either mobile data or wifi connection


Connection interrupted, attempting to reconnect your call



Your connection to Natterbox has been interrupted, try moving to an area with better connection to the internet via mobile data or wifi connection


Poor signal, please be aware call quality might be affected.

Move to an area where you have a better phone signal to ensure best possible call quality


Connection re-established

Your connection to Natterbox was interrupted, however it has automatically been reestablished - no action required 


Call re-established

Your connection to Natterbox was interrupted whilst on a call, however it has automatically been reestablished - no action required


Internet connection restored

Your connection to the internet was interrupted, however it has automatically been reestablished - no action required
