How to grant subscriber’s access to Natterbox

Some issues that are reported to the support team, require additional investigation by  the team to review the setup in your Salesforce instance. This can be done in a secure way by providing subscriber’s / remote login access to the Natterbox organisation. This does not share credentials and allows you to revoke the access at your own discretion. You have the option to grant the access for various time periods such as: 

  • 1 day

  • 3 days

  • 1 week

  • 1 month

Permissions Needed to Grant Login Access

Users need the ‘Manage Users’ permission which is usually included in a System Admin’s permissions.The ‘Manager Users’ permission also requires the following permissions:

  • Manage Profiles and Permission Sets

  • Assign Permission Sets

  • Monitor Login History

  • View Setup and Configuration

  • Manage Login Access Policies

  • Reset User Passwords and Unlock Users

  • Manage Sharing

  • View Roles and Role Hierarchy

  • Manage Internal Users

  • Manage Roles

  • Manage IP Addresses

  • Manage MFA in User Interface

  • Freeze Users

  • Manage Password Policies

  • View All Users

Granting Login Access

To provide us with the access please follow the below steps:

1. Navigate to the Natterbox app.


2. Within the application, please navigate to the Admin home tab.



3. Once you have navigated to the Admin home tab, please scroll down to the middle of the page and locate the “Grant Login Access” button on the right hand side of the page.


4. In the new page, please locate 'Natterbox Ltd Support' and select the time range for which you would like to grant the access, then press 'Save'.

5. Once completed, please notify the Natterbox Support team to ensure they can proceed with investigating your query. As they are not notified once access is granted.
