Article summary

We are aware of the planned deprecation of 3rd Party Cookies by Google Chrome due to complete in Q3 2024.

As part of this, Google Chrome have announced that they will be conducting an experiment on 1% of users in January 2024 and disabling this feature. Enterprise users will likely be excluded from the 1% being targeted, however we would recommend enterprise administrators set the BlockThirdPartyCookies policy to false to opt out their managed browsers ahead of the experiment.

We are currently conducting end-to-end testing and making the required changes to ensure services are not impacted once the deprecation is complete. This may not be complete by January 2024 when the experiment is undertaken. Please note, that non Service Cloud Voice customers will not be affected by this anymore, as we have rolled out a change via a platform update.

We will keep you updated on the progress we are making on this page, so we recommend bookmarking this page to stay up to date.
