How to setup a yealink purchased elsewhere

For this guide we will cover the method of configuring a Yealink desk phone that so not purchased from Natterbox. Please note that any phone purchased from Natterbox will have already been configured for you and the only action need will be to plug it in.

Once you have made that device select it from the devices tab to find your devices Extension and your org’s Domain. The former is the 5 digit number that this device has been assignednsion’. This will be individual for the your company,
it consists of the first four letters of the company name followed by the ORGID xxxx-xxxxxx.sip.natterbox.com, meaning if your company is called ‘Example LTD’ with the ORGDID (Organization ID) of 5100 the address would be exam-005100.sip.natterbox.com.
Once this is complete now is the time to plug in your Yealink phone. When this is done and the phone has finished installing we will need to get the IP address of the phone, to get this press the OK button on the phone. This will bring up the following:

Firmware:
The phone's IP address would be look like the following, 192.168.x.xxx. Open an internet browser, Firefox, Google Chrome, Internet Explorer etc. and enter the IP address into the search bar and search. Once this is done this would look like the following;
As this phone has not been provisioned the login information will be as follows:
Username - admin
Password - admin
When logged in using the menu bar at the top of the page select the Account tab, here is where we will enter the information saved earlier.
Once all this information has been entered click Save.
