There are two main places for permissions with Natterbox.
The Natterbox permission sets on the Salesforce User
The dropdown on the Natterbox User
We recommend that you only change the dropdown on the Natterbox User. This will sync the permissions on the Salesforce User.
Please note: recording permission is separate to the permissions above. If you want to grant access to recordings, please see this guide.
Assigning licences to a user will also grant access to certain parts of the product.
Introduction to Permission Sets
Salesforce Users require a Natterbox permission set before they can be added as a Natterbox user.
All Natterbox permission sets begin with NBVC which stands for Natterbox Voice Cloud.
The NBVC Basic User Permission Set gives you access to the phone system itself and is required by anyone that will be using the Natterbox platform to make and receive calls.
The NBVC Team Leader Permission Set is for those who need to change members of groups, create dashboards and administer dial lists.
The NBVC Administrator Permission Set gives you access to all Natterbox functions but will not give someone administrator privileges for the rest of the Salesforce org, which means this task and permission set can be delegated.
For further information please see the next part of the chapter.
If you require a custom permission set, please clone one of the existing ones and work from there.
